This handmade mission coffee table was designed for a client who wanted a hardwood coffee table similar to my mission end table. My handmade mission coffee table features a carefully mortised and tenoned base, a long wide shelf, and equally spaced parallel slats on the ends that characterize the simplicity of the mission style. The open slat styling gives it a quiet strength while visually creating a sense of lightness. Whether in the living room, den or library, this mission coffee table adds an atmosphere of contentment and simplicity – perfect for enjoying one’s morning coffee.
Joinery/Construction Details: Constructed of solid, hand-selected hardwoods with mortise and tenon joinery.
Finish: Hand-rubbed and waxed tung oil or lacquered for the ultimate in durability.
