This handmade solid wood Shaker credenza was custom-designed for a client who had specific needs for his home office. He wanted to combine the simplicity of Shaker design with a functional storage space for books, files and supplies. The flexible design of this seven-drawer file credenza works well in the office or library as a companion to our Cherry Stand Up Computer Desk or Cherry Computer Table.
Two main file drawers flank a central bay of three box drawers. The file drawers are supported by full-extension mechanical drawer slides for ease of use, lasting strength and durability. The standard design includes a back made from solid shiplapped cherry, walnut or mahogany. A solid wood frame-and-panel back is available for applications where the back is visible.
This handmade solid wood Shaker credenza can be customized with different drawer configurations or overall size to meet your individual needs.
Options:
- Frame and panel back: add $600
Joinery/Construction Details: Constructed of solid hardwoods using frame-and-panel constuction and mortise-and-tenon joinery. Dove-tailed drawers; shiplapped back is standard.
Finish: Hand-rubbed nut oils.
Hardware/Drawer Pulls: Hardwood knobs are standard; brass knobs are available for an additional charge; please inquire when ordering.
