How to Order Handcrafted Furniture from Hawk Ridge

We will discuss your needs and the aesthetic and structural aspects of the project to develop a clear understanding of the project scope. Next, I will provide a proposal / cost estimate. Once you accept the proposal, your order is placed and I will provide drawings as needed to clarify design details. 

Once the drawing is approved, a deposit of 60% is requested to secure a place in my workshop schedule. Once an order is in production the deposit becomes non-refundable.

Accepted methods of payment are personal check, bank check and cash.  Completion time generally runs about 12-16 weeks from the time an order is placed.

Hawk Ridge Furniture is a small studio furniture shop which specializes in one-of-a-kind hand-made furniture.  I build each piece myself, focusing on one project at a time and giving great care and attention to every detail. Woods and materials are hand-selected, and I utilize the finest hardware to ensure lasting quality.

Shipping
I use a variety of shipping methods and will provide a price quote for the best method.  Most often I suggest blanket-shipped--also called "white glove"--for it offers the safest method of delivery for fine furniture.  I may personally deliver within a half day drive of my shop in St. Johnsbury, Vermont.   Payment for shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser. 

Final payment is required one week before shipping.
