 I use an appropriate combination of modern and traditional furniture-making techniques to craft each item. I use a mixture of dovetail, mortise-and-tenon, and pegged joinery to add strength through simplicity. I hand rub natural oil on each piece to bring out the natural beauty of the wood. From rural vernacular to formal period furniture, I strive to create synergy between the unique character of the selected wood and the elements of structure and design. I use high quality raw materials in my work. From top grade lumber with rich grains to high quality hardware, I hand select the items I will use to match the design concept and to provide you many years of enjoyment and function.
