The corner cupboard was once a prized possession in many homes in the northeastern U.S. I designed this period piece based on a 1830′s rural southeastern Pennsylvania cherry corner cupboard design. The basic design includes a true divided lite door above, one drawer and two doors below. This corner cupboard features bunn feet, dovetail joinery, brass hinges and pulls, and cock beaded drawer fronts. It’s a beautiful and durable heirloom piece.
Joinery/Construction Details: Traditional mortise and tenon joinery; frame and panel doors; true divided lites (antique glass); cock-beaded drawer fronts; hand-cut dovetailed drawers and bunn feet.
