These custom freestanding libraries were built to fit into an existing space. Are they Shaker style or modern? Its up to you to decide. One of the library units has open shelving above and doors below. The other library unit was designed with a triangular shelf at one end to soften the transition on the wall. The shown library is 10′ wide, 7′ tall, and 14″ deep. Freestanding libraries are customized to suit the owner and space. The cherry wood frame, shelves and back will darken over time. They are hand rubbed with natural oil finish to help preserve and soften the wood. In time the natural patina of the wood will make this piece an exceptional eye catcher.
