Inspired by the New England Shaker tradition, the cherry wood Pencil Post Bed is appreciated nightly by of several of our satisfied customers. Sturdy mortise and tenon construction compliments the soft patina of a hand-rubbed oil finish.
Hawk Ridge Furniture’s Pencil Post Bed is designed so that it can be be moved quickly and effortlessly. The headboard is carefully fitted, yet it ‘floats’ in the mortises of the posts; rails are attached to posts with 7” bed bolt hardware, and the platform comes in three equally-sized sections for easy handling.
